Scrapbook Shell earrings

Vegan Necklace

I made this necklace to wear to VegFest at Seattle Center, sponsored by Vegetarians of Washington. I think it needs a heavy bead under the G to keep the lightweight wire from flipping over. But I like it.

Another button ring

I stitched a little beaded ring and found a lovely vintage button to go with it. Then I wrapped wire underneath the button and a little bit along the edge.

Stained Glass

I made this in an Intro to Stained Glass at the Glassique studio here in Seattle. We had several patterns to choose from, then were able to choose the glass we wanted to use. Then we cut the glass, ground the edges, and soldered it together with lead. I particularly enjoyed using my bead stash to make the beaded wire hanger.

Valentine's Day bracelet - bead weaving

I don’t know why I picked such a complicated pattern! I had to give up my first attempt, and am now a few inches into the second attempt. It’s really pretty, and I love the colors, but it’s a hard pattern to follow. I should be doing easy bead weaving patterns until I get better at it. Oh well, perhaps I’ll have it finished by next Valentine’s Day.
